*NDEMILI TOWNHALL CONSTITUTION*
*PREAMBLE: *
NDEMILI TOWNHALL VIRTUAL FORUM; otherwise known as “OBIOGWA UMUSADEGE” is simply a gathering of Ndemili sons and daughters through the use of technology, where members are at liberty to express their views or opinions on any subject matter, using the platform.
Also, it is a virtual forum created to bring together – all Ndemili indigenes all over the world; irrespective of age, occupation, class, religion, education, gender, etc, to be able to stay connected at all times.
*OBJECTIVE: *
To serve as an interface to Ndemili Umusadege Community in Ndokwa West LGA, and take a common position where and when necessary that will enhance the growth, peace, and development of the local community.
*QUALIFICATION:*
The Qualification for admission to the electronic TownHall is; one with a stable mind and must not be less than 18yrs, including interested Ndemili daughters by marriage.
*RULES:*
(1) The individual differences of members cannot be discussed in Ndemili TownHall, except they are seeking for resolution.
(2) Malicious attacks on individuals, public office holders, elders, and leaders in the local community or in the society at large; are highly prohibited. Meanwhile, constructive criticisms of anyone, are allowed.
(3) Insults, abuses, malicious or unfounded publications against members are not acceptable; culprits must be made to tender apologies.
(4) Opinions, ideas, suggestions, comments or publications expressed in the forum are that of the authors, therefore, the “Admin General” can not be held liable.
(5) Members should be mindful of the fact that the forum is an “assembly” of old and the young, therefore, decorum should be applied at all times.
(6) Members of the forum who violates the rules will be sanctioned if they fail to take caution from the Admin General or from members of the Admin Group.
(7) The Group Admin, otherwise known as the “Admin General” of the online forum – is not the owner of the group. It is owned by the generality of Ndemili people, therefore, the “Admin General” should be sanctioned by the ‘Admin Group’ if he is found to be biased in any issue or fail to heed correction.
*PORNOGRAPHY: *
Video, audio, picture, or otherwise related to pornography or containing any pornographic materials, are seriously prohibited in the forum. Do NOT share such information in the group.
*POLITICAL AFFILIATION: *
NDEMILI TOWNHALL does not belong to any political party in Delta State or in Nigeria or anywhere else. It is absolutely – APOLITICAL, and should be treated as such. Although, individual members do.
*RELIGION: *
Nobody should turn the forum to any religion. Moderation is only advised.
*PRAYERS: *
Members of the forum should endeavor at all times to adhere strictly to the said objectives, rules and regulations, please.

*ADDENDUM: *
NDEMILI TOWNHALL MEMBERSHIP WELFARE:
Considering the level of commitment by members of NTH towards the growth of Umusadege through the instrumentality of *NDEMILI TOWNHALL VIRTUAL FORUM, * we propose that, henceforth, the electronic community shall collectively assist members in the following ways:
- a) When a member has a terminal illness or faced with a very serious health challenge, funds shall be solicited from the forum to assist such a person in order to access medical treatments speedily, provided he or she presented a valid medical report including the doctor’s phone number to the members of the ADMIN GROUP. Any amount realized from the donation shall be given to the patient.
- b) We do not pray for deaths in our midst; but, if a member dies, the sum of #50,000 shall be extended to his or her immediate family as “support” in solidarity with the bereaved family. The solicitation for this amount shall also be from the forum.
- c) When a member loses his or her parent(s) or spouse: the members of the forum shall endeavor to attend the funeral ceremony of the deceased en masse and the sum of #40,000 shall be presented provided an “invite” was duly extended to the forum.
- d) As usual, any Community Development Services or Solidarity gesture to be undertaken by the NTH at any time, will prompt asking for voluntary donations from members of the forum to pursue the successful execution of such CDS at hand.
- e) Affordable “gift item” not costing more than #12,000 shall be presented to “bridegroom” during the marriage ceremony of a member(s). The fund for the purchase of the gift item shall be drawn from the NTH bank account balance if any, otherwise, it shall be solicited from the willing Management team of the forum only, provided ‘marriage invite’ was adequately extended.
- f) The reasons mentioned in articles: a, b, c & e above, shall be the only justifications to solicit for freewill financial donations in NTH at any time.
*CONSIDERATION: *
- Only current or sitting NTH members who have engaged in financial responsibility or commitment in the electronic community shall be entitled to enjoy such ‘support and privilege’ mentioned in items a, b, c, & e above.
- Members should know that the only source of revenue in NTH is through voluntary donations by members, so, whence, there is a shortfall in any circumstance, then, there should be no bickering from a would-be-beneficiary.
- Whether anyone in the forum is a financial member or not, the presence of NTH members at his or her event is of utmost importance.
Lastly, let us join hands together to build and uplift our community.
